This session will be based around a practical scenario which addresses some of the major challenges and risks faced by employers, and the options available to them, when managing a poorly performing employee.
We will provide a detailed case study and will identify the key factors which you need to bear in mind (including the challenges, risks and options available) when dealing with someone who is just not making the grade.
Through the case study, we will consider:
From the discovery of an employee’s poor performance and the reasons for it, to the options available to you in the circumstances (whether workplace or ACAS led), we will consider how best to handle such issues efficiently and, more importantly, effectively in practice.
