Kingsley Napley receives honours in eprivateclient’s ‘Top 35 Under 35’ lists

Kingsley Napley LLP is delighted to announce that members of the firm have been named in eprivateclient’s ‘Top 35 under 35’ lists published this week.

They are:

  • Katie Newbury - an associate in the Immigration team. Katie prepares visa applications for investors and entrepreneurs seeking entry to the UK, challenges the UK Home Office by way of appeals and through a number of successful judicial reviews, assists with asylum claims and human rights applications, and also works alongside the family team to advise on the immigration implications of international surrogacy and adoption.  Katie gives speeches regularly on immigration law matters and is an active member of International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
  • Claire Wood - a partner in the Family Law team. Claire advises on the legal issues arising on divorce or separation, including arrangements for children. She regularly drafts pre-nuptial agreements and has been central to the development of Kingsley Napley’s surrogacy practice, given her special interest, expertise and reputation in this field. Claire won the prestigious International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML) European Chapter Annual Award for young family lawyers in 2013 for her essay international marriage contracts and pre-nuptial agreements.

eprivateclient’s listing includes not only lawyers but also accountants, trustees or other professional intermediaries who have been judged the “rising stars of the private client professions.”   Katie and Claire were chosen on the basis of nominations made to eprivateclient and their respective individual achievements.
