We advise senior executives and board directors in all industry sectors, with a particular focus on financial services and professional service organisations.

We can help you with your contract negotiations to ensure that you enter the business on the most generous terms possible, and with your eyes open and the relevant protections in place, in case your new appointment does not proceed as well as you would have liked it to. We can help you to maximise your severance package on termination of employment.

We are particularly experienced in dealing with bonus disputes and team moves, restrictive covenant issues and garden leave. Together with our corporate and commercial team we can also deal with shareholder disputes and we are used to handling the PR issues arising from the exit of high profile senior executives and board directors.

Our aim is to negotiate without the need for litigation, but when litigation is unavoidable, we are experienced in bringing claims for our clients in the Employment Tribunals, as well as the High Court, and we also defend actions for injunctions against departing senior employees and directors.

As we act for employers as well as senior executives, which enables us to foresee and respond rapidly to or defend the arguments and claims that employers tend to raise or bring in such cases, enabling us to achieve successfully our client’s objectives.
