Setting aside a will on the ground of fraud

We were recently instructed by a client whose father had made a will that left everything to his gardener.

When we investigated the circumstances surrounding the execution of the will, we instructed a forensic handwriting expert because the signature did not look like the examples that we had been given. The expert confirmed that the signature had been forged and in due course the will was consequently set aside.
