Acting to stop harm: the FCA and Appointed Representatives
We acted for the beneficiaries of an estate in a claim against the personal representatives (who were solicitors) for failing to distribute the estate in accordance with the deceased’s Will. The personal representatives had misinterpreted the construction of the Will and in doing so our clients had suffered considerable loss and the deceased’s wishes had ultimately not been carried out.
Our expertise in the contentious trust and probate field married with our skill in professional negligence matters enabled us to deal with this matter efficiently and extremely effectively resulting in an excellent settlement for our clients.
