What We Look For

Our trainees are a top priority for the future of the firm. We look for candidates who have motivation, enthusiasm and commercial awareness, as well as a passion for the areas of law we practice in.  We want our trainees to bring something to the table and to be creative and practical problem solvers.

We encourage trainees to have previous experience before joining the firm, but this is by no means an absolute requirement. We have taken on trainees from a mixture of backgrounds; including those who have just completed their LPC and others who have had an entire career before joining us.

Successful candidates will also have long-term interest in Kingsley Napley. We are very proud that our current retention rate of trainees at Kingsley Napley is 100% on qualification, and we will always try to ensure that trainees who have trained with us, then go on to qualify and stay on to have a full career with us too. A number of our partners trained at with us, and many of our past trainees are progressing their careers at Kingsley Napley.
