Career and personal development at Kingsley Napley is supported by full competency frameworks for every role in the firm so that our people know what is expected of them and what they need to do to develop and progress to the next level. We have promotion policies in place for our lawyers and business support staff so that everyone in the firm understands the process and can take ownership for their own career development with our continuous support.

The firm runs an annual in-house training programme which covers the core skills of being a lawyer (e.g. networking, drafting, fee negotiation) as well as sessions on negotiating, communicating and influencing. The programme also included sessions for personal development and style as well as support for managing and supervising others.
