Kingsley Napley - Still recruiting in the downturn

Gareth Kervin's promotion to partner was announced today, following the recent expansion of the team by the recruitment of Amy Barker from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain and Jennifer Bartlett from Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Gareth had worked as in-house counsel for a major global investment bank and a large inter-dealer broker firm before joining Kingsley Napley as a solicitor in September 2007.  He brought with him considerable experience of all areas of employment law but with particular expertise in matters affecting City based financial institutions, high net worth individuals and large scale transactions.  His promotion is effective from 1 October 2008.

This promotion follows in the steps of two lateral hires within the Corporate and Commercial department as well as two partner promotions within the Criminal and Regulatory department earlier in the year.
