Renowned Sports and Media Lawyer to lead Kingsley Napley’s Dispute Resolution team

Leading City law firm Kingsley Napley has announced the arrival of Gerard Cukier as a Partner and new head of the Dispute Resolution Team.

Barry Samuels, head of Dispute Resolution for over a decade, will continue as consultant.

Gerard, formerly of Stock Fraser Cukier, is renowned for his sports, entertainment and media law practice having acted for several nationally and internationally known clients including international entertainers, sporting entities, national newspapers and leading sports and media personalities. Amongst Gerard's clients are Dame Shirley Bassey, Associated Newspapers, Portsmouth FC and ex-footballer and manager Graeme Souness.

Gerard has also acted for both claimants and defendants in several high profile libel and intellectual property cases.
