Bank bonus dispute enters High Court 23/01/12
Richard Fox commented in an article in the FT, regarding the High Court case involving 104 investment bankers who are in dispute with Commerzbank over EUR50m of unpaid bonuses. It is the first such group action of its kind to be heard in the High Court and will set a landmark ruling which may encourage other bankers to follow suit. Richard was quoted saying: "So far we are seeing bankers looking at advice in relation to their position, although they are not suing. That might well change, depending on which way the ruling goes."

This bile shows why we need a privacy law 17/05/11
On the same date that a complaint about pictures taken of the Middleton sisters in a private moment on a boat were published by the Daily Mail and a complaint lodged with the Press Complaints Commission, the Daily Mail and a group of UK newspapers published further articles complaining about the current state of the UK privacy laws. There is clearly an ongoing campaign by the press to ridicule the current state of the law. The campaign is based upon a series of fallacious arguments about the nature of the law backed by statements which are misleading and self-interested.
