Von Essen lands in London

Andrew Davies' Von Essen has teamed up with developer Weston Group to open its first London hotel. It has signed a £50m deal for a 15-storey mixed-use development at Bridges Wharf in Battersea, SW11. The £150m scheme will comprise a 70-bedroom hotel over seven floors, six floors of flats, and a 200-seat rooftop restaurant. The deal also includes the freehold of the London Heliport, which will be serviced by the group's fleet of luxury helicopters and jets.
