  • Acting for a Defendant to a claim for breach of contract and misrepresentation in relation to the proposed procurement of a financial indemnity bond which Defendant brought and was successful upon its Defence and Counterclaim for breach of the terms of a warrants deed issued by the Claimant to the Defendant (Oxus Gold plc & Anor -v- Templeton Insurance [2007] EWHC 770)
  • Acting for the Defendant to a claim in which the relief sought was a mandatory injunction to compel it to transfer shares to the Claimant pursuant to an unsigned share transfer agreement 
  • Acting for a Claimant in a claim for constructive trust/proprietary estoppel alternatively for payment of their services on a quantum meruit basis arising out of a joint venture to establish a global media network
  • Acting for a Defendant who was instructed as the agent to a company which had commissioned the building of several ships to renegotiate the shipbuilding contracts. When the negotiations broke down the shipbuilders brought a claim against our client for conspiracy and unlawful interference with contract.
  • Acting for a Defendant against whom a claim had been brought in fraudulent misrepresentation following the sale of shares from one director to another director and then onto our client.
  • Acting for a Claimant in a dispute arising out of the alteration of the beneficial interests in a trust which was used to operate a company in which the Claimant previously had a majority interest.
  • Acting in a claim for misrepresentation arising out of the sale of a business to another company, which business did not flourish as anticipated.
  • Successfully resisting an attempt by a publicly quoted trust fund to rectify a management warrants agreement following the termination of the management contract.
