Neurology is the study of disorders of the nervous system, namely the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (the nerves that pass from the spinal cord to the rest of the body), by neurologists.

  • epilepsy;
  • headache and migraine;
  • vascular disorders, including stroke;
  • infections, including meningitis and encephalitis;
  • brain tumours;
  • degenerative disorders, including Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and dementia.
