You will be a qualified solicitor, minimum 4 years PQE, or legal executive/paralegal with 4 - 6 years immigration experience with the ability to handle a full range of applications for private and corporate clients. You should have prepared applications, both routine and complex, within all the employment, business and investment related categories, as well as leave to remain and family-related applications. Experience in dealing with complex/discretionary applications and appeals would be an advantage. You will be able to provide clear advice and to build strong relationships with clients. The successful applicant will possess good knowledge of business immigration law, have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage their own caseload. We would like someone who would be willing to develop their expertise, who enjoys the challenge of immigration law and policy and who would be interested in developing the department's reputation.
