**The trainee secretarial scheme will not be running in 2013**
Kingsley Napley operate a trainee secretarial scheme which commences in August of each year, on a fixed term one year contract.
During the trainee’s time with the firm, they will have the opportunity to be allocated to all nine practice areas as well as the support functions. The programme is very comprehensive and will give the trainee a good grounding for commencing their career as a legal secretary.
We are affiliated to four colleges in the South East of England and accept applications through this medium but we also consider candidates who would like to approach us on an independent basis.
We are looking for candidates who are keen to learn, who want to achieve and deliver excellence, motivated, team orientated and, most importantly, have the potential to work alongside others to provide the exceptional service that clients expect.
Candidates must have gained a Grade C or above in their GCSE subjects, which must include a Grade B or above in English Language and should be studying or have passed a two year Legal Secretarial diploma, with a typing speed of 40 WPM or higher.
Applications are accepted in January of each year, with interviews taking place in April/May of that year, with the fixed term contract commencing in the August.
