Rachel specialises in clinical negligence and manages her own varied caseload as well as assisting Partner, Verity Danziger, with her high value and complex cases. She has experience of representing clients who suffer from a range of injuries resulting from GP negligence, obstetric, physician and orthopaedic negligence.
Rachel joined the department in 2004 from Alexander Harris.
Rachel, alongside Kate Rohde, Partner and Practice Area Leader, secured a settlement of £800,000 for a client who had wrongly been prescribed slimming tablets causing her to suffer a fatal and terminal heart condition. Rachel also secured a settlement of £230,000 for a client who had undergone an unnecessary spinal operation to remove screws from a previous back operation – this destabilised his back which led to him being unable to resume his successful photography career.
