Moira qualified into the Employment Department in September 2011, having completed her training contract with Kingsley Napley. 

Prior to joining the firm she worked as a "General Legal Adviser".  This role entailed giving practical legal advice, spanning all areas of the law, to clients with Legal Expense Insurance.  Prior to commencing her career in law, she worked in headhunting in the financial sector, in Tokyo.

Moira read History at the University of Warwick and obtained an MA (with Distinction) in Social Anthropology from SOAS, University of London.  She studied the GDL and completed the LPC with Distinction at the College of Law, London.

Currently, she assists with all areas of employment law, where she has experience of acting for employers and senior executives on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues including:

  • unfair and wrongful dismissals, 
  • discrimination, bullying and harassment, and whistleblowing claims, 
  • drafting and advising on employment contracts and compromise agreements, 
  • business restructuring and reorganisation, 
  • disciplinary and grievance procedures, 
  • redundancy situations, and 
  • Data Protection issues.

Outside the office Moira enjoys travelling, yoga, netball and spending time with family and friends.
