Jennie is a solicitor in Kingsley Napley’s employment department. She graduated from Oxford University in 2006 and undertook her training contract at Clifford Chance LLP. After a further year spent there as an associate, she joined Kingsley Napley LLP in 2011 to specialise in Employment Law.
Jennie has experience of acting for employers and senior employees in unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing cases.
Her non-contentious experience includes advising corporate and individual clients on a wide range of issues, including:
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures;
- Redundancy situations;
- Employment contracts and consultancy agreements;
- Business restructuring and reorganisation; and
- Data protection issues.
Recent experience
- Advising a former Chief Operating Officer employed by a European office of a major investment bank in relation to bringing sex discrimination and whistleblowing claims against her employer.
- Advising an employer in the farming and agriculture sector in relation to an unfair dismissal claim brought against it by a former manager.
- Advising a company director in the private medical sector in relation to disciplinary action taken against him by the company.
- Advising an analyst employed by an investment bank in relation to her application for flexible working.
- Advising a newly established company in the IT sector in relation to the employment documentation it required, including drafting the service agreements of senior executives.

Outside the office, Jennie enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and playing netball. She is also an enthusiastic member of the Pug Dog Club.
