Before joining Kingsley Napley, James previously worked in practices based elsewhere in the City and in Kent, and has also spent time working in-house with a leading international provider of online travel services.
He advises on corporate transactions, including in relation to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, MBOs and group reorganisations. In recent years, an increasing number of clients have used LLPs as start-up vehicles, and James has dealt with the establishment and structuring of such entities, as well as with more general partnership issues. He also provides general commercial and contractual advice, with a particular focus on the technology, manufacturing and travel sectors. Much of this advice has been to those selling goods and services online, both within the UK and internationally.
“His contribution undoubtedly ensured a successful outcome for all.”
