Deborah has a broad range of experience in all aspects of clinical negligence, including claims arising out of birth injury, spinal cord damage, orthopaedic treatment, opthamology and acting for children. She is an accredited panel member of both AvMA's and The Law Society's specialist clinical negligence panels.
Deborah acted in the reported case of R -v- Croydon Health Authority and her recent settled cases include the recovery of £3.7m for a child with cerebral palsy and £2.9m for a man brain damaged by a failure to diagnose sinusitus.
Deborah has contributed to Legal Network Television training videos on clinical negligence and acting for children. She has also spoken at the House of Commons Committee meeting on the NHS Redress Scheme at the request of a client.
