Anthony joined Kingsley Napley's Corporate and Commercial Team inSeptember 2007.
He advises on a whole range of corporate transactions including mergersand acquisitions; joint ventures and shareholder arrangements; and otherprivate equity transactions. He has a particular expertise on providingcorporate finance advice to companies listing on the stock markets (AIMand PLUS).
Anthony is also developing a specialism in banking and finance, particularlyall types of debt, security and intercreditor issues. He has acted forfinancial institutions, investors, borrowers and entrepreneurs on both a bilateraland syndicated basis.
On the commercial side, Anthony focuses on providing advice to clients inthe media, sports and entertainment industry with particular emphasis onendorsement contracts, licensing of intellectual property and regulatoryissues.
Recent work has included:
- Acting on the takeover of Portsmouth City Football Club;
- Acting for a FIFA registered football agent in connection with hisrepresentation contracts with Spurs and Middlesbrough FC;
- Advising Li & Fung on the takeover of Hardy Amies and their ongoinglicensing arrangements;
- Representing a Theatre Production Company in connection with itsproduction of a Dick van Dyke broadway musical;
- Advising a property investment company on the corporate aspects of its£70m re-financing of a property portfolio; and
- Acting for the local Qatari partner on an international joint venture inQatar with Galliford Try plc.
